How old does my child need to be?

Children need to be three years old and potty trained to attend Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Preschool.


What are your hours?

Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Preschool offers half day and full day sessions. Morning session operates 8am-11:30am . The full day session operates from 8am-3pm.


Are snacks provided?

Yes, snacks are provided and are aligned with USDA guidelines. Children attending the full day option provide their own lunches.


What curriculum do you use?

Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Preschool uses the Creative Curriculum, which is a hands-on learning curriculum that is aligned with national and state early learning standards. Click here: Creative Curriculum to learn more about the Creative Curriculum.


Do you have to be Lutheran to attend?

No, you do not have to be Lutheran to attend Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Preschool. We offer a Christ-centered preschool program that teaches the message of Jesus Christ and what he has done for us. Children hear the love of Jesus every day and are encouraged to live as a child of God in thankfulness for what Christ has done for us.


What's the enrollment process?

Please contact the director via email or phone call to set up a meeting. Families who are interested in enrollment after the meeting will complete a registration form indicating the desired days and session. That form, along with the Registration Fee will enroll a child in the desired session as long as there is space available.
