operation christmas child

This year we are again offering you the opportunity to have an eternal impact on a child’s life by packing a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child.  Each child who receives a shoebox hears a clear presentation of the gospel and receives an illustrated pamphlet in their own language that details God’s plan of salvation and how Jesus is The Greatest Gift of all!

until the end of november

We will be highlighting this ministry and have resources to help you pack a shoebox.  We have lots of pre-printed shoe boxes available or you can simply use a normal shoe box.  You can download How to Pack a Shoebox flyers here or pick up a copy from the table in the entryway

This year we are also promoting build-a-box online as a great way to participate in building a box without physically shopping for items.  Takes less than 5 minutes! Please tap here for our Build A Box Online goal page.

prayer is most important

Prayer is the most important thing that goes into a shoebox.  Once you have chosen the age range of a boy or girl, you can pray while you shop for items to fill the box.  This is a wonderful activity to do with your children or grandchildren.  Pray that the child who receives the box will have an open heart to hear the gospel.  You might want to write a personal note to the child letting them know that you prayed for them.

Shoeboxes need to be returned to church Sunday, Nov 15 or Sunday, Nov 22.

If you have questions you may speak with Connie Siebenrock, Annie Drake or Cari Ranger.
